BYU ready to join a P5 Conference, but not play on Sunday.


The take away is that BYU is not interested in being independent any longer. They can see that the path to a Championship basically is blocked as an independent.

I think their best option is going to be as a football only somewhere. The Big XII should consider that. The ACC has all kinds of events on Sunday, and I imagine all other P5 conferences to as well. Football is hardly ever on Sunday, so that could be accommodated by the Big XII or PAC12 as a football only member.
